compatibility Fransat and Sony Bravia KLD 60W855B

Post by jethro »

I have a PCPMCIA slot on my telly and I have put the little Aston Fransat mini-decoder in it but the telly doesn't seem to recognise it even though the little green LED lights up in in the corner of the decoder. My telly is only a year old and has all the bells and whistles you would expect and fail to understand. My satellite dish, connected to a Strong TNT decoder, gives me all the TNT channels, but I want Fransat because its free and 10 of the channels are HD. What has to be done to a) find out whether my telly is Fransat compatible and b) whether I need to redirect my dish to 5° West ? The set I possess doesn't appear on the Fransat list of compatible tellies, but that means little, since it is out of date. My telly accepts the C+1 norm in the PCMCIA slot.
an' the wun' cried Mary.
