BBC1, BBC2 on Filmon

Post by russell »

BBC1 and BBC2 have disappeared from Filmon this morning as has CBBC/BBC3. BBC1 Northern Ireland is OK as are all the other channels I have checked. I guess this must mean that the aerial they are using to receive those channels in the UK has stopped working - power cut perhaps?

I was watching BBC 1 N Ireland (8 am French time) this morning on my iPad. Then later could'nt reconnect to BBC so watched ITV news. However have had problems connecting via Filmon Ap for more than a week. However connecting via web brower Safari always works though picture quality not so good.

I just tried on an iPad and they are there if I use a UK IP address but not without.

Filmon applied geo-restrictions last year for a while and then relaxed them

Filmon support say they had a glitch earlier that is now fixed 30 minute response - pretty good on Filmon's part

I have been used "Hola" lately. I only use the "Accelerator" portion and it seems to reduce the amount of buffering on filmon.com.

BUT, I seem to have some problems by using Hola. It's a question about starting and closing this android (G-Box Midnight). Maybe it wasn't the Hola program, since I was tweaking the "wi-fi direct" between the G-Box and my Nexus 10 tablette.

The agravation from the starting problems it's worth using the Hola accelertor.

Incedentaly, I haven't had any problems on the previous posts about Filmon.com.
