Phone switching to Spanish network

Hi there. I have an LG Android phone and am on the SFR network. Sometimes in Saint Marsal I notice that my phone has switched to a Spanish provider. I can solve this by turning it off and on again.

But this month I have been hit for 39 euros of data usage in Spain. I used that data in Saint Laurent de Cerdans, not Spain.

Is my problem with my phone or my provider? I know how to switch off data roaming in another country but I would prefer to keep it on in France.

Not sure about your 'phone specifics but under "Operator Selection" select "Manual" and when it selects SFR, your provider, confirm selection.
This should lock you in to SFR. Remember, if you do go to Spain, you will need to repeat the above and select "Automatic" which is, I suspect, where you are now.
