English TV Ok in France?

I have a relatively new digital TV, in England. If I bring it to France do you think it will work, once retuned, or is it the same problem of incompatibility, as was the case with analogue TVs?

I can only speak for Sony Bravias that DO work. You just re-tune them and the built-in Freeview tuner picks up the TNT channels.

Yes, it should be OK.

Even if it doesn't have integrated Freeview/TNT it will still work as a monitor for a Freesat / TNT / Sky Digibox external receiver via the scart or HDMI inputs.

A standard digital TV will work anywhere in Europe. We've been all over with one in our camper-van and had no problems except in remote areas.
