Wine tasting

Post by henri » Tue 17 Jun 2008 11:34

On Saturday 21st June we will taste Domaine des Soulanes from Tautavel at "Cellier des Arcades" 3 rue Danton Céret.(11.00am)
Daniel Laffite produces traditional Roussillon wines with old vines of Grenache, typical from the schists soil of Maury. You will taste also his famous fortified wine called "hors d'âge" which matured twenty years in old barrels. Amazing!!!

Domaine des Soulanes "La Pinede" was one of my selections for the A-D wine case.

There will be a Wine Tasting of Domaine Treloar's range at "Soleils du Terroir", the Epicerie in Llupia by the roundabout on the way to Thuir on Sunday 29 June from 11:00 to 13:00.

Soleils du Terroir has some of the last available bottles of One Block Grenache and Three Peaks Cotes du Roussillon as these have now sold out at the winery. If you cannot make it but want to reserve some bottles, please let me know and I'll do my best.

I have deleted postings advertising some distant wine club and removed the names of the posters from the forum. Responses to the advertising from members have also obviously had to be deleted.

I'm truly surprised at this Colin.

Knowing that you are a man interested by the development of the English Language,I'd have thought you'd have been absolutely fascinated, like the rest of us,by the new thoughts(sic) re grammar, punctuation, spelling and semantics displayed in the offerings of Jerry,Didier,Melin et al.......?

Didn't know that Southern California was in India where this posting came from

Another one for my feathered friend to remove from the list.

Ever tried Indian wine?
If you haven't, then don't bother.
Bought a bottle once when we were in Goa. Yuck.
One of the very very few times I have tried wine I didn't like.

At least not the one from Delhi with holy "pure" Ganges water added!
