Taxe Fonciere

Post by gordonandann »

I have not yet received a demand for Taxe Fonciere for this year and normally it is due to be paid by about the 15th October. Is anyone else in the same position?

You should probably contact them ASAP as I'm sure they will see it as your fault if you don't pay it.

If you go to your local Tresoir Publique with last year's Avis, they should be able to print one off and allow you to pay it there and then. The date limit IS 15th October.
However, I seem to remember reading a report that 3.8 million people had reported that they had received no Avis by 30th September. Unfortunately, you are still responsible.
