Hi
Any idea how much it costs to get mains gas fitted or to have a hob converted for use with bottle gas?

the gas main would depend on a lot of things, mainly is there town gas where you live? the distance you are from the road, etc.etc but at a guess you wouldnt get any change from €3000. to convert a hob is easy you just need to change the jets(5min) when you buy a hob here they will change them for you if you ask.

Ah right thank you for that yes I thought the mains gas would be very pricey.
The hob is a newish one (IGNIS) but I salvaged it from my folks house in the UK and so far have not been able to find the butane/propane jets for it online yet.
