Small change converted shopping voucher

Post by ceret2018 »

Intermarche now have a machine that converts small change to a voucher that can be used in the shop.

The usual caveats apply in that you can only use the voucher in the shop and it is time limited, but that's not unreasonable.

The woman on the check-out was very impressed by my 57euro voucher.

That’s useful to know. Thanks Ceret2018. (And no commission presumably)

no commission charged, you just pour all your coins into the hopper and out comes a voucher for the full value

At the risk of asking the obvious, which Intermarché?

I would have guessed so too. But why guess when you can ask? Céret is not near enough to me to go there with a few kilos of change on spec, but it would be pleasant to have an extra excuse to visit in the cherry season.

I missed the most obvious point. ceret2018 has indicated where they come from, but not whether they have an Intermarché in town, let alone one with a coin-counter. Céret might just as well be the dark side of the moon for most of us. For what it’s worth, I have one but not the other.
