Carrefour Loyalty Card

Post by Smiley G »

Following Kate's very helpful post about Intermarche's loyalty cards I thought I'd put a post on about Carrefour which might be useful to Forum members who don't live down here and may be unaware.

Carrefour used to operate a fidelity programme which allowed you to accrue money off from various promotions and then to redeem by either receiving a cheque by post or download a voucher from their internet site, on the espace client.

They began implementing a change in December 2014. Each time you proffered your loyalty card, you received a slip of paper with a unique personal number - Cagnotte Fidelite. This number is linked to your Carrefour card and you need to retain this number.

Since January 2015 any promotions for a discount via the fidelity programme have accrued and have been available for redemption in February, within 48 hours of the value being earned.

Each time you shop you receive a receipt showing the value of your fidelity.
The next time you shop to redeem you say "J'ai combine sur ma carte", the cashier confirms, you key in your unique code (Cagnotte Fidelite) and the money is deducted from your total shop.

As Alexander Orloff would say.........Simples!!!
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
