Something new on the menus??

Post by Roger O »

Chef wants jellyfish on menu
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8248271.stm
Choosing to eat jellyfish is all about cultural attitudes, according to Carme Ruscalleda,
a celebrated chef at work in the kitchen of her Michelin-starred restaurant next to the
beach in Sant Pol del Mar, on the Catalan coast.
Which restaurant - and has anyone tried it??

Have eaten jelly fish in a chinese restaurant... no discernable flavour but an interesting texture, was akin to eating a plate of rubber bands... looked the same as well... a bit of an acquired taste.

I would have imagined it was like squid with a bit of a kick.
