La Table de Cuisine, St Andre - May 2009
We went to this restaurant for the first time last night with a couple of discerning foodies and we were all really impressed. We had lashings of good wine (including an excellent champagne) and ate superbly with the bill coming in around 50 Euros a head. It is a genuinely French experience, a creative chef, a novel wine list and, above all, real value for money. How often, in this price range, would you find asparagus sprinkled with escargots and chocolate ice cream with a smack of chilli on offer?!
