Brown Sugar !

The above link has appeared on the PO Life site a number of times over the past 5 or 6 years. I have been tempted to try it a few times and finally last week I gave it go.
The reaction was very positive (from my wife) so much so I made it again yesterday.
The recipe calls for Brown Sugar, I originally made it using Demerara sugar, the 2nd time with dark brown soft ugar. The Demerara version was the better as the flavor (molasses) of the dark brown sugar overpowered the taste of almonds.
If I can make it anyone can make it. Go on, give it a try
