La Pallera Coustouges

Post by Steve&Julie »

The hallmark of this newly opened restaurant with outside eating terrace is its provision of completely fresh and locally sourced ingredients, cooked to order. The owner Dennis Dopler (English and French speaking) has transformed the original village 'straw barn' into an excellent place to enjoy a top quality meal in a beautifully restored environment fully in keeping with the ambience of this 11th C village. Offering an excellent value 16 euro 2 course menu (entree/plat ou Plat/dessert) and also a 28 euro menu plus a la carte options, there is something here to suit every palate. Typical 16 euro menu:

Entree:

Serving local wines at very reasonable prices and a range of other drinks we enjoyed our meal (La terrine, moules, tagine d'agneau & tiramasu) and will certainly be returning.

Open for lunch and evening (phone for times) 04 68 95 18 36 or email lapallera@orange.fr.
