2042C
Moderator: Moderators
We are currently attempting to carry out a tax declaration for 2010, our first attempt. We obtained our 2042 form from the Ceret Tax Office. You can also obtain a similar form on line via the Government website. It may be that you put the wrong year in when you searched for the form. Try leaving the year box empty, this should give you the current form for 2010.

For the last 2 years I have simply added together the euros amounts which have gone into our bank account from UK pensions, and this has been accepted.
Any income already in euros clearly doesn't need converting.
Before that, I used to phone the impots for the exchange rate to implement, and they often didn't know.
I seem to remember one year that I got the amount from the Connexion paper, or similar. All a bit woolly!

Re: Tax
I'm using the figures from here: http://www.x-rates.com/d/EUR/GBP/hist2010.htmlSue wrote:What conversion rate is being used this year?
This gives an average for the year of 1.166.
