EDF reducing monthly payments

We received our new monthly payment schedule from EDF but due to covid 19 it looks like we will be unable to visit our place in St. Cyprien for some considerable time, (being of a certain age) it looks like we may well be kept in isolation for longer than others.
I had an online chat with EDF and they have reduced the monthly payment to an amount I requested so that a big credit was not building up with no electricity being used in the long term.
