Contribution L'Audiovisuel

Post by Sailor Keith »

I'm sure that this will have been raised before, but I cant find any previous posts.

What is the position if you have a TV in France, used only to watch UK TV by satellite, but never use it to watch French TV. Do you have to pay the Euro 123 annual charge?

Cheers

I suspect you do. Just as if you have a TV in the UK but say you never watch BBC.

Hi Keith,
Yes, I'm afraid you still need a licence, even if you don't watch the telly at all, you have 'the means' :x
