EDF monthly payments

Post by Sue »

This is the first year that we have paid our EDF electricity bills by set monthly payments. Our final bill is online today and it would seem that we have overpaid by well over 300€. Does anyone know if EDF automatically credit it back to your bank account or do we have to apply for this to be done?

I pay by prelevement and most of my bills were estimates, when they did an actual reading they credited me strataight away with the excess payment.

Yes, that is our experience too.
And they automatically reduce the future monthly payments too.
