Apologies if this development has been posted before. After hearing about this from a friend who also had an annual parking season at Perpignan airport, we recently got a rebate - a credit voucher against future parking at the airport rather than cash - because of the winter closure of Ryanair's UK routes from November to March. The amount was 143 euros against the annual cost of 528 euros - no clues as to how this was calculated, but better than nothing. It surprised us to hear that this was available, as I guess most airports would say that the Ryanair winter pullout was at the parking customer's risk.

That's interesting Rog. I presume you just have to be lucky to find out about it and that they don't send out letters informing you???

Yes, it looks like you have to ask the CCI that runs the place for the rebate.

... but there may well be a specific number regarding airport enquiries.

We emailed dominique.soler@perpignan.cci.fr, tel 04 6852 6072, asking for the rebate, and then got a letter attaching the credit note from CCI Aeroport Perpignan-Rivesaltes, Ave Maurice Bellonte, 66000 Perpignan, tel 04 6852 6070, email aeroport@perpignan.cci.fr, signed by Marc Fiancette, 'le responsable Qualite Formation Developpement'.

The credit note itself says it's an 'abonnement parking avoir sur votre abonnement parking de Novembre 2009 a Mars 2010 suite a l'arret des lignes Ryanair sur le Royaume Uni', and the covering letter says "Suite a votre demande et conformement aux directives qui nous ont ete donnees, nous vous communiquons ci-joint un 'a valoir' sur votre prochain abonnement au parking public de l'aeroport de Perpginan-Rivesaltes."
