passport .....again

Post by opas »

I am just about to do online check in for ryanair.

I have done this so many times before and each time I get confused as to what to tick!

At the part where it says country of issue for passports, I have a UK passport via the Paris branch of the British embassy, so I assume that the country of issue is France, but to assume anything at this stage could be costly.

Positive information only please.

I would guess that the British Embassy in Paris is technically UK sovereign territory.
Anyway, it was issued BY the UK even if delivered via Paris.

Yes, it is definitely Britain, not France

ah! I have for years given the country that stamped/issued my passport - e.g. a French document issued by the French consulate in London, I would give 'London, UK'.

Uk passport re-issued in France, I would give 'country of issue', France.

I have though never had the situation occur linked to Ryanair.
hmmm?
