UK France Travel Options Are Reducing

Post by GrahamC »

Ryanair has pulled its October flights. Brittany ferries seems to be operating a skeleton service. Tried to book to Spain but the only thing on offer is a 2-nighter via Roscoff. Most of the other overnight ‘cruises’ seem to be off the menu from October.

Sadly, not too surprising. We flew over with Ryanair on Tuesday. Cost £7.99 each and about 24 people on the flight. Clearly cannot be viable for them. We are just relieved to have flights back (at the moment!)

I don't really know what to take from this:

However, given that Gatwick is Easyjet's most profitable airport and of its top 20 routes from that airport Barcelona comes in at number 5, we can reasonably expect to be able to continue to access the PO going forwards by flying Gatwick to Barcelona.
