Col de Banyuls

I heard that the Col de Banyuls road got washed out a few months ago. Anyone know whether this route is back to normal?

I read that the cost for reparation would be in excess of 900 000 and that the mairie was asking for help from the state, Conseil Régional and Conseil Général.....so I cant see that being granted too quickly!

It's open and passable but rough going in places where temporary hardcore has been used to replace washed away sections.
