Car Hire Ceret/Amelie

I have some friends visiting at the end of September who want to hire a car.

Anyone know of any car hire companies in Ceret/Amelie or will we need to go to Le Boulou?

Any help appreciated.

Back in June I was thinking of hiring a car locally in Amelie. The tourist office pointed me to the Budget car hire office that Nicki has written about already; but he then added that the lady who ran it was most likely to be found in the office of the Gare Routiere and that I should go and look for her there first.

Can't tell you any more than that though as I didn't take it any further.

Thanks that's very helpful. You can book a car from there on the Budget site on the web, so presumably if you do they man the office accordingly........normalement!
