Perpignan Airport 2012

NEW ROUTE !!!!!!!!

Hi eveybody! I hope you're fine. I've seen on Flybe's website that they will open again Perpignan-Birmingham route (from Saturday 26th May 2012 to Saturday 1st September 2012) with one flight/week each Saturday like Perpignan-Southampton (from Saturday 19th May 2012 to Saturday 8th September 2012).

Perpignan will be connected to 6 destinations for 2012 Summer : Birmingham (Flybe, 1 flight/week), Brussels-Charleroi (Ryanair, 3 flights/week), Dublin (Aer Lingus, 3 flights/week), London-Stansted (Ryanair, 5 flihts/week), Paris-Orly (Air France, about 30 flights/week) and Southampton (Flybe, 1 flight/week). The frequencies will normally increase for Brussels (July and August) like Stansted too and maybe for Birmingham and Southampton! Finally, I hope that the Perpignan-Manchester will be opened again with a new operator!

Thanks Dimi, that's really useful to know, although it would be nice if they would put something more on out of season for all the residents and their families who want to travel to and fro.

Both the Birmingham and Manchester routes will be used by us, but as Kate says, we'd like to be able to travel throughout the year.

yes you're right, some annual routes would be a great thing from Perpignan, just like Stansted for example.

Eastmidlands to Perpignan would be the optimum, from a purely personal perspective of course.

Hi all we are delighted with the Aer Lingus Dublin/Perpignan flight now that the fares appear to be more competitive - got flights for next Easter cheaper than Ryanair to Girona which has been our usual route for the past 3 years. I also flew with Aer Lingus early October with my father into Perpignan and I have to say the service is far superior to Ryanair - so for the moment we are very happy with this, fares could still drop a little in my view for kids school hols but for the moment we have done well with our prices!

Hi,

I also used Perpignan in Oct flying Aer Lingus, a joy.

However without Ryanair and the like flights would be much more expensive.

Hi everybody and a Happy New Year!! :) I hope those news will be good for you. Due to the closure of Perpignan-Manchester route, Perpignan Airport has actually opened negotiations with Ryanair for a Perpignan-Leeds Bradford route and Air Nostrum (Iberia Regional) for a Perpignan-Palma de Mallorca.

Aer Lingus have gone back to 2 flights a week, Thursday flight gone.

I had booked a return to Dublin, 2 days later I received an email advising the flight was canc. Switched to the more expensive Saturday flight at no additional cost. Just 1 telephone call.

BT, thats the difference between Aer Lingus and Ryanair - one easy telephone call and you're sorted :) We are delighted with the Aer Lingus flights into Perpignan, may be a bit more expensive but so worth it for the convenience and service!

New route from Perpignan airport! Palma de Mallorca with Air Nostrum (Iberia Regional) each saturday (July, August). Roud trip from 150 euros!

Unfortunately, the route between Perpignan and Leeds-Bradford won't be opened...
