Any ideas for amusements for our two grandchildren (aged 3 and 19 months)? Farm visits? Playparks? Events?

Chateau Valmy have the bird shows, the birds are kept in the aviary prior to them and they have a very small petting zoo. However the birds in free flight may frighten them during the show if they are timid. The handlers encourage the children to get up close. I notice this year that they are having 3 different types of birds shows so you could be selective of what to see. http://www.lesaiglesdevalmy.com/
The Valley of the tortoises at Sorede is also good but you need to go when it is cooler as the animals take shelter as there is very little shade.. http://www.lavalleedestortues.fr/

We took our grandkids to this place last summer Colin, and it was pretty good. Enough to keep them amused for half a day,and could be stretched out to a full one if the donkey ride option is taken up.Colin L wrote:Thanks already! Just looking at the Ferme de Decouverte at St André. Looks promising.

The Ferme du Bonheur is good too for young kids. It's not a big deal but it's free and it's nice for the kids to see pigs, ducks, geese, burros, horses, a bull, and a bunch of other animals too.
This is located a bit above the Argeles sur Village.
