Receiving Notifications

To avoid flooding you with too many emails, the forum does not automatically send you notifications by email.
If you wish to be notified by email when someone posts on a topic that you are interested in or if you get a private message you have to enable this in your user control panel. To do so click on the arrow next to your user name at the top right of the screen below the header, and go to User Control Panel. Then click on the Board Preferences tab and choose Edit Notification Options. You can now choose what you wish to be notified of and whether you want an email or just a notification when you log on to the forum.
If you want to follow a particular discussion in the forum that someone else has created, you have to subscribe to that topic by clicking on the spanner icon at the bottom of the topic and ticking the box "Subscribe topic".
You will automatically be subscribed to any topics that you have started yourself.
