the website http://www.jerrican.eu/ is useful to find cheap fuel near motorways etc.... My SatNav will tell me where all the supermarket based petrol stations are and they are usually the cheapest but on a 1,700 km drive I prefer to just keep going rather than make a detour just to save a few euros...

i think modern LED TV's are prone to failure. My Boys Samsung only lasted 3 years too!! Too cheaply made and now seen as throw away items.... which as it only cost around 130€ is perhaps the case. It is the 'Pollution' caused that worries me.....i come from the era before all this madness!!!

What would a 'Brexit' mean for Health Care in the Future

With thoughts to the previous Post......what does anyone think would happen to the rights of Expat Health Care in France and around Europe, should the "Lunatics decide to 'Brexit' the Asylum", in the forthcoming Referendum?

Just 'filled up' at e-LeClerc Limoux. Diesel at 0.999€ a litre.. The Crude price seems to be still in 'Freefall', so maybe even more price cuts to come.

Isn't it all just a nonsense. It really captures the UK attitude to Europe. How can any country which claims to be "at the heart of Europe" block it's TV output. I despair, I really do. The Little Englander Isolationist Mentality is beyond me too. We are rapidly sliding back into the thinking of th...

EEC Report on Geo Blocking the Likes of iplayer due today.

EEC reporting today on the Geo-Blocking of 'entertainment content' within the 28 Member Countries. It is likely that the report will reccomend that Geo Blocking ceases within the EEC. This would be an excellent result for the ExPats of all Countries to access entertainment from their own countries a...
