Is there an English speaking helpline for EDF. Our June bill is 2 or 3 times more than expected and I want to query it. I may say one of my neighbours bill is normally around 160€ and Junes bill is 2600€!!!!!!

We only rented ours out for the first year of being here and then sold it. We contacted tax office informing them of amount of rental and the amount of mortgage which were more or less one and the same and received a letter from Tax Office confirming no tax was payable.

I went back to England 1st to 9th April and obtained a quote from Hertz at around £120+. I complained that this was too expensive and ended up paying £94 plus £10 for returning the vehicle to a different location than pick up.

We purchased a Dune DVB-T digital tv receiver at a boot sale today. Can anyone tell us if this picks up only french digital tv or if connected to our satellite dish should it pick up english free to view channels.

Im sorry but Alan must have some connection with the restaurant. I would not consider paying a quarter of that for a meal and if I did it would have to be darned good and include the wine! Not only wouldnty I pay it but more to the point I cant afford it. What a waste of money.

Hi BT Its about 40 kms from Argeles on the coast road via Collioure, Port Vendres etc. Colera isnt far into Spain. As you enter Colera the restaurant is off to the left. Its a boring looking square building painted all over in a red/burgundy colour. Inside is decorated lovely and spotlessly clean. Sue
