Petit Train Jaune

Can any of you Roussillon folk tell me anything useful about this train? Like times, fares etc. The SNCF site sends me round in circles, tells me about strikes which may be happening but never actually cuts to the chase with anything as useful as a time table. If anyone has been on it, is it worth t...

Of course we don't have one in the UK, so I cobbled this together (this is the index) and it was accepted: Famille de XXXX xxxxxx Index 1) un extrait de l'acte de naissance de XX...

Thank you for that Post Paddy. I spent a couple of months in a wheelchair last year, and can see things with your eyes. I am not yet at your stage of disability, but I do have a paralysed leg, hobble around on a crutch, and have great difficulty coming down stairs (escalators are impossible). I woul...

paddyfrog, you mention that there is an office for the impots in Prades, thats interesting and just as I need to pay them a visit too! Is it open eveyday or is it one of those visiting offices like CPAM have? and I do everything I possibly can by email, but I'm in the Hérault. The local office in B...

I used to work in the Averon (just) (Midi Pyrenées) and live in the Hérault (Languedoc Roussillon). Crédit Agricole is broken up into regions, so although I could use the ATM where I worked, I couldn't pay in a cheque for example, which was a nuisance as I wasn't at home in normal banking hours. I h...

I once won a case (against a garage, not a builder), paid my avocat, a hussier ..and then it turned out they had gone bankrupt, so I lost the car, tha money I paid for it and all the fees awarded by the court..
I haven't a lot of confidence in the system.

Re: TV via computer?

I am just about ready to give up my quest to get SKY TV here in St. Cyprien Plage - the local TV chap was supposed to come yesterday to test the smaller dish to see if I could get reception. I waited in all day - no engineer, no phone call. I am told that I get some programmes via computer but only...
