Call Emmaüs in Pollestres; they accept and sell all sorts of stuff: furniture, clothes, bikes etc. They'll pick up your load tho' you might have to wait a week or two.
On the other hand, you could try to flog it on Anglophone.....

Best meal ever…

The best meal I ever had was the first one Helen cooked for us after we got married: strange greenish looking soup with a few weeds floating in it + a wonderful lemon-meringue pie which she'd learnt to make at night school.
