Thanks Sus

- oh to have a personal helpdesk!

Mind you, the online message chat system with Orange was very effective - that's why I decided to write up my experience of it.

I'd certainly encourage anyone else to try it. It's much easier than trying to use the phone!

Orange - online help PUK

Ok - so not really high tech or geek. More a result of dippy me..... This morning, on the dual-sim Motorola phone I have, I managed to disable the Orange sim by putting in the wrong code three times ( please don't ask why!) It said I needed to get a PUK number via my Orange account BUT, big problem,...

Not really a star, Sue...I wish! I just decided to see if I could copy the link of the photo album which had been posted on the Aeroport Sud de France FB page, and discovered I could. Then I checked it in a private browsing window where it seemed to work without any FB log-in so thought it was worth...

It's possible you can see the photos via this link - it's to the photos which were posted on Perpignan Airport's Facebook page. It's not a closed group so it should be accessible even if you don't have a Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/AeroportPerpignan/photos/ms.c.eJxFztsNwDAIQ9GNKsw7~_y9...

Having worked in a 'luvvie' profession most of my adult life, 'kissing' has an added dilemma for me when out in France. In luvvie-land, one or two kisses can be followed by a hug - and sometimes it's just a hug, no kiss. But as far as I know, hugs are a no-no in France - so I have to try and remembe...

It's because the UK TV companies have already sold their programs to various EU broadcasters with a contract that protects the broadcasting exclusivity of those programs. It works both ways. That's certainly one reason, but there are other factors at work too. Music - unless a buyout is done with a...

I did a week-long course at ALFMED in January this year and certainly don't regret it. But there were definitely plus/minus aspects. I think it really depends what you're hoping to get out of the course The morning 3-hour teaching session in a group of four, was the best part for me. The teacher was...

Which weather forecast site do you prefer?

Here in the PO I find I am much more aware of the weather than back in the UK (but then I've lived in big cities for most of my adult life where dry/wet/warm/cold is just about all I need) So I'm curious about which weather forecast sites you use here in the PO? My default is meteofrance, but have e...

Hmm - it looks as if the Beziers -Luton flight gets in too late to make a connection on to Easyjet. It would require an overnight.

But it's certainly another option for the outward journey though.

Once you've got off the train and headed down the stairs to the corridor which links all the platforms and the exits, you should see a sign or two for the Gare Routiere. It's right next door to the train station - but on the western side. So, instead of exiting via the main station concourse, you he...
