I would think that you are going to find it very difficult to find a long term rental amongst the expat community until September as the majority of places are up and running for the season.. Maybe expand the area where you wish to stay might help? Leboncoin is a good place to look also ( if you hav...

Sorry but the outside area has not been very well thought out . I was there on Saturday , impossible to stop in the depose minute area as it was full of taxis parked in the spaces provided and any empty space had a taxi driver standing there so we were not allowed to park. If this is for taxis then ...

Hi there, I think you have chosen the wrong time of year to find a rental here. The majority will be seasonal rentals, you will probably have more luck finding something in September till June. It is not that French owners do not trust you but that you have to have an income in France , which I am g...

what type of lessons do you want? if it just plain conversations i would say the best practice is to take up a activity ( like painting)s or a sport( there is a gym in the capellans ). I have found it doesn,t matter how many lessons you have, even one to one, the only way to keep the language up is ...

Nearly fainted at the price for 1 child and 1 adult 388 euros !! And...

It is the tenant who pays for the internal connection not the owner. You just have to provide possibility to connect a phone ( and even that is not obligatory if they rented knowing there wasn't one). The renter will be charged by orange the connection to their services.

Hi, my daughter did this a few years ago and she had to ask for permission at the mairie . As you say you are part of a copropriete I would think that your first port of call would be them, and if they accept then go to the mairie. You will need to give date and times. If you have rented since October 2015 , the renters would apply for help with the rent but would only get the first payment in December if they have given all the right paperwork. If any paperwork missing then this could take longer .
