Owens88, as with everyone else you have failed to include the SW. If you think it is a faff getting to Vernet from Perpignan then you should give getting to Devon or Cornwall a go from the UK airports you have mentioned.

If you are a foreigner with a second home and don't submit a tax return here, Impots won't know your income so I am assuming in this instance nothing changes for a foreigner with a second home.

Pop over the border into Spain, La Jonquera for Heinz baked beans. Bingo supermarket has them 88 cents a tin. Escudero has large jars of Helmans mayo for 1.75 €. Man other products too.

You will not be given a form S1 by the DWP until you reach UK retirement age and in receipt of a state pension. If and when Brexit happens it is highly unlikely you will ever get one.

If I wanted to get to the Bournemouth area I would be quite happy to fly Carcassonne to Stansted in winter and Perpignan Stansted in the summer as it is only a 2hr 30 drive. There is nothing at all to Bristol in the winter and in summer it is either Beziers or Gerona. Sometimes I fly to Birmingham b...

Doctor Sautai has left the practice and has, I believe, taken up a post in a hospital out of the area. Dr Alquier and Dr Guyot of the same practice speak reasonable English. We were registered with Dr. Sautai and are now with Dr Alquier.

Without having a test you are not able to be fitted with an aid. I also had to have a letter from my doctor saying that I needed 2 AIDS before I could be seen at the Audio shop. Personally I was sent to the clinic because when I went to bed the hearing was fine in both ears but when I woke up I coul...

I went to the Clinique Causse too as my doctor also said it is the best in France. However having been to Centre Hospital, Perpignan first I found the equipment was much better at the hospital and the tests far more thorough. The listening booth at the clinic wasn't even soundproof. If I hadn't been...

Because I lost my hearing in one ear overnight this was done in Centre Hospital, Perpignan because the audio centre in Argeles was closed. Once you have your test results you are free to use w...
