I have been in the room he died in, it's been left as it was the day it happened. How he wrote all those novels in that seat is beyond me, it looks so uncomfortable. Loads of holidaymakers book specifically to stay at that house because of who lived there, they even had a big visit of his fans last ...

Wow, think I'll just try my luck, see if I am still on the list. Need to speak to him as he knows the history of my immediate family and it's all connected. He may be able to help with other things too so will keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for all the help.

Visiting a Dr in UK

What's the score on that?

I may have to go see one while I am in UK. Am I allowed to? I don't think I signed off from my old one, and as it's not unusual for me not to visit once in five years he won't suspect anything. If I am signed off because my mrs got too thorough can I still go see one?

The rule is, as he understands it, that you aren't supposed to apply in the UK if you don't live there. IE if in France you have to go to the Paris embassy as edan did.

Logic never seems to enter these things does it.

I know someone that god his dad to send out the forms, then he filled them in, sent them back where they were then forwarded on, and the passport was sent back to that address. He then sent the passport out to his son.

If they didn't rip you off, people wouldn't bend the rules.

Depends where you are Pole. On Saturdays I would only take stuff out with a Saturday delivery sticker on it. (bloody jobsworth lol)

So if you were on my route it wouldn't be! Maybe you have a driver that likes an easy Monday so gets shot of as much as poss on Saturday

Hub 1 will be Birmingham, the main hub point for all Parceline/DPD parcels. From there it will go to the airport to be flown to France and onto Hub 2, eg Toulouse where it will go to Hub 3 the local one for dispatch. Fingers crossed it'll be with you shortly.
