Girona

I'm probably the last to find out, but very disappointed on return flight from Girona to Bournemouth today to find out Ryanair are pulling out for the 2nd time in their history from Girona and I guess forever. Having just moved to Bournemouth I'm gutted! The P.O. is now even more inaccessible by air...

Thanks Allan; I'll give it a go. Linky issue now partially resolved as they are apparently in our area from June to November next year.

Luxens paint

Does anyone know if you can ask Leroy Merlin to order in a paint that another of their stores stocks but which Perpignan ( according to their website ) don't stock? Alternatively are there any other stores that have a range of Luxens wall paint. Looking for Blanc Ivoire 3 in satin. Have tried a goog...

EDF account access and stuff

I'm trying to log in to my EDF account from France. I usually do this from the UK without an issue. I'm getting Access Denied. I've tried it as a 'guest' so that the system doesn't know where I'm accessing from and can't track but without luck. My p.c. is the one I use in the UK. Any ideas? Also doe...

A61 A9 interchange roadworks

Can anyone tell me whether the interchange between the A9 and A61 in both directions is fully open 24/7? I have some recollection when passing through in the Summer that there were road closure signs at the roadwork area, but not sure when and how long for?

Anyone know of a carpenter that could fashion some exterior doors from scratch to block access to open entrances to a 'sous-sol'.

SFR broken phone line

Spent some time trawling through all this - they don't make it easy! As I don't know what type of box I've got, I got to a point of not being able to go any further with it. However, a relative went to the house and spent about 40 minutes trying to get through to SFR. After another considerable amou...

SFR broken phone line

Thank you for your help. The line is SFR; no English support like Orange. I will try and follow the link given . It sounds as though it is what I got to recently, but perhaps didn't pursue far enough or just didn't understand.

SFR broken phone line

We are in the UK. Non-French speaking friends at our house report the phone line is down. I've been onto our SFR online account and cannot find a way of reporting it. It maybe that my French is too poor to understand what I need to do. I've found a number which I think I can report it to, over a pho...

Flights to Perpignan

The South west is in need too. We used to have Bournemouth Girona all year round, which by car from Girona is only an hour to Perpignan. If only an airline would reinstate that or even better operate on a regular basis from Bournemouth or increase the Southampton route to all year round. Someone men...

Does anyone have any inside knowledge as to whether Ryanair will be flying into Perpignan during the winter this year, particularly over the Xmas period? I've looked on the website and nothing showing as yet.

Selling a flat

I would suggest selling on Rightmove, Leboncoin and if you want an agent, through the English speaking Leggett Immobilier. If you look at Rightmove you can see what the houses are selling for in the area at the current time, but the market is very different to the UK. Le BonCoin is what the french u...

flights to Perpignan

Many years ago BA flew to Perpignan from Heathrow. It would be fantastic if BA or any other airline flew between the two. I also think there is a market for Ryanair to fly from Bournemouth to PGF to support all the southerners and give Flybe a run for their money, who are incredibly expensive despit...

Well we have to start somewhere! Have just read Simon Newman's article, which is interesting. We will engage a UK based Anglo/French conveyancing solicitor too, to oversee it.

Thanks for all the advice.

To all forum users; I've copied this from WOW What's on in Herault. I read the headline before reading the article.
