Restaurant Mimo Damian - Girona

It has been awhile since I have posted anything on here so thought I would share this. Damian Allsop a Brit who is regarded by many to be something of a Master Chocolatier moved back to the Catalan region about 18 months ago (he was formerly the pastry chef for Celler Can Roca) to relocate his choco...

I have been amazed to see the pictures of the river and flooding in our village...speaking to some friends last night we are lucky being in the centre of the old town so not affected. We live by a river here in the UK that floods every year so know only too well the dangers and devastation that such...

ditto I have wandered around the site after several visits with my young daughter and have come away with a heavy heart that asks so many questions about man's inhumanity to man... I have spent several hours with my neighbours trying to access via the...

I agree the courtyard was perfect for a warm summers evening... Lunch I agree looks good value and we will try that next time... It had a very large party on the evening we were there 17/20 on one table plus another 3 tables (2x2 1x4) all being served by two serving staff who worked their socks off!...

Just had my renewal notice to find AXA put my insurance up nearly 10% and since having our property since 2002 the total cost has gone up by nearly 150 Euros. I have previously made a living out of reviewing restaurants and hotels for professional guides and be it good or bad I feel a review that is constructive in its critique is invaluable. I find the best place to connect is McDonalds. If you pick the right time of day e.g. when all are on the beach they are a bit quieter - the one at Canet now has free wifi - used it at Easter and I suspect also the one in Argeles as well although their web site is not up to date! http://www.mcdonald...

Those who criticise their charges for optional items(bags, insurance, priority boarding food etc) are way wide of the mark.
