Poultry

I can recommend Les Saveurs Paysannes in Saint Esteve. They grow their own organic vegs and also have quite a bit of land with free range chickens, turkeys etc. They are now taking orders for Christmas.

0468513513 or search for saveurs paysannes on google.

Lift Montpellier airport /Perpignan - Gatwick flight 6 NOV

I have booked extra places with BLabla Car to pick up hubby from Montpellier airport and take to Perpignan to avoid long detour for driver. Anybody interested in a seat for Friday 6th November around 15h30 (Gatwick flight) ? Works out around 11 euros pp. A bientôt !

Good evening Joe, My husband is also a regular traveller (a weekender fo/from Perpignan/Gerona Stansted so far !) but considering other alternatives thanks to Gerona wipe-out. How long does the trip Barcelona Airport to Perpignan take ? Is it really "doable" on a week-end basis ? Are there any other...

BC GESTION - Testimony

Just to add to Kate's comments: thanks to the lovely and efficient ladies in BC Gestion, I was able not only to save money but actually get a refund from the Hotel des Impots on Income Tax (enough to cover the Taxe foncière bill !!). I found them approachable, keen to help and affordable..........an...

savings........

If you sell your house "furnished", this could reduce the amount of tax being paid (i.e. you can split the sale price between house itself and furniture/fittings - the tax rate will only apply to the price of the house itself). Guidelines of amount per sq. meter can be obtained from the notaire to e...

wine tasting

If the event is called 'vins primeurs' then I believe this is meant to promote this season's wines (same kind of event as for Beaujolais nouveau).

Grape picking is well under way and a lot of producers will bottle 'in-house' thus keeping delays to a minimum.

Enjoy !
