Haha. Clad in textiles. Great expression. Seriously though, it’s a lovely resort surrounded by some stunning scenery, and the oyster capital of the P-O if you’re an oyster fan.

I like to keep reviews honest and non-advert related. If you have a place that has impressed y...

Re: Looking for work in Perpignan area

That's a shame Richard. Hope you find some solutions to get back here - it's rather lovely at the moment (as I know it is in the UK too) and looking out over the sea and mountains, anything seems possible. The very best of luck to you both.

Do I assume that you’re unable to pop into Spain because obviously if you do have transport, that would be the best place to buy spirits and it’s a nice afternoon out.

Re: Remember cleaning all those bugs off your windscreen in the 80's and 90's?

A few years ago, out for lunch in one of the many delightful fish restaurants in Port Vendres, we commented on how very fresh the fish was, and how reassuring it was to eat local fish straight out of the sea onto your plate. “Oh no” the patron told us.”if we bought our fish on the quais it would cos...

Yes, these people are ‘correct’ and do the job well but from what I gather, the whole process is very expensive no matter who you go with. :bomb:

I know the original post was a while back but would highly recommend Dr Isabelle Rossetti in Maureillas. She is kind, competent, thorough and speaks enough English to get by.
