Re: OK Cheapish specs.

Sounds interesting.!! I see they have a website too, where you can order direct, but having someone else do the measuring is more reassuring. !! In the past I have paid 2 and 3 ( and even 4 times!) times their price for progressive photochromic lenses. On the other hand, I once got a pair in Hong Ko...

bread flour.

the flour used for bread making is called sometimes "No. 55" The white flour can be bought in most supermarkets but I have not seen the strong cereal too often. Our boulangeries make good cereal breads so do not look to buy flour too often!

Strikes,

russell... the air traffic service here in France is also "doing" a strike today... so flights passing through from UK to Spain are also affected. So using Girona and Barcelona is not always a solution to strikes here!!

The family of late owner have decided to put the cat in a refuge! I am truly sorry... but maybe it is better than leaving the cat too long alone, waiting for a new home.
Thanks for reading.

CAT ADOPTION . Urgent

I am hoping someone will be able to help. A friend and neighbour died recently, leaving 2 cats. One has been adopted by a family member but the other is now alone. I have been feeding and looking after the two cats for 3 weeks in their own home. But now I need to find someone to adopt the second one...

The Corner Shop is one of my "shops" , like most people, I suppose mainly for Tea bags. I usually get a few other things whilst I am paying the delivery charge. Found that http://www.missmysupermarket.com/ is also good.... and sells cheaper pharmacy stuff.

For info... I have used SFR for some years and was initially promised 8MB/S but seldom got more than 5. However when I rang them last year to complain about an unannounced hike in prices, I was offered a new contract at 10€ a month less.. the tie up with Numericable being the reason. I accepted an...

One of my "best buys" in cookware, was a set of 3 cast iron frying pans from , I think , the Sunday Times, about 45 years ago. Still using one... gave the 2 smaller ones away! We paid £3 for the set.

Thanks Martyn94. No Invicta, then! I also bought a cheapie in Lidle or Aldi a few years ago and it is ok for some things... rubber/plastic handles make it no good for the oven. I also tried a Swedish brand, often found on the markets,; weight perfect but again the interior lining did not last too lo...

To sell you could advertise on this web site (in the "for sale" section or in Leboncoin.fr . We advertised our car on Leboncoin.fr and had 10 calls within 30minutes of the ad. appearing online. Best done with a photo and details of milage etc. in the advert. Bank cheque is best for getting payment.
